  1. Hello. Until a few days ago I synced my music library between my PC and my Android phone on the internal storage of my Android phone. Everything worked fine. But it's gotten pretty big so I decided to move it to my SD card. In the Resilio app I disconnected, deleted the folder on internal storage, changed the default storage for the folders on Resilio to my SD card and connected to the library on my PC again. In the file explorer everything works. The music files are there. When I click on them in the file explorer I can open them in a music player and they play. But if I open the music player it (the folder with the music) either doesn't show up at all (Pulsar Music Player and others), or it shows up but I can't see the titles (the Sony music app). When the library was in the internal storage everything worked just fine. And when I move the library manually to the SD card (using my PC) everything works, too. It only doesn't work when Resilio sync the library to the SD card. Is there any solution to this?
  2. Hey there everyone, I've tried playing around with Sync Home (free) to synchronize my music folder on my PC to my phone. Previously, I have synced my music through MusicBee but it's getting very tedious with how long it takes and how regularly it fails. However, my attempts at syncing haven't allowed me to specify where on my Android phone I'd like to sync to, and sets to the default (/storage/emulated/0/Download/Sync/MP3). I have a 200GB SD card for this very purpose and want to make use of it, as my phone storage isn't big enough for all of my music. Is this a limitation of the free version, and if so, which version do I need to buy to get around it? Or am I just missing something altogether? Thanks for any help or feedback!
  3. Hello, Resilio Sync used to work perfectly on my Galaxy Note 1 reading and writing from and to the SD card, syncing to and from my Windows 7 PC. I have now bought a Galaxy S7 running Android 7.0 and the same doesn't work. I have installed Resilio Sync from the Play Store and reinstalled it. Turned off simple mode Set up read only keys to get thousands of pictures and other files from three separate folders on the PC onto the SD card in the phone. All works well, and I can see the files in Total Commander, look at the pictures and play the MP3 files, but when the phone goes to sleep or restarts, Resilio tells me it can't find the destination folders. Sometimes I find that .sync/ID is missing or the whole .sync folder is missing. I have even tried moving the folder to sync into from SD:// (in my case /storage/5533-434F) to /storage/5533-434F/Android/data/com.resilio.sync/files/ but the problem persists. Is this a known problem? Jim
  4. Hello! I'm running stock Marshmallow on my Asus Zenfone 2. I have a problem with trying to access my SD card on Resilio Sync. With other applications, I am taken to the document picker and am able to choose my SD card and choose the root SD folder to grant permissions. I have done that with Total Commander and X-Plore among other applications so I know this is not an OS bug. When I select the SD card in Resilio Sync however, I'm taken to a document picker with nothing to pick. I have unistalled and reinstalled Sync several times, trying various options like clearing the cache, but have the same problem. You guys have the right idea but the implementation seems to be faulty. Please advise. And hopefully fix this? I have a pro license and am a paying customer of this software. ☺ Would love to sync my files to the SD card instead of my internal phone memory. Thanks!
  5. Hey Guys - I use BTSync (Pro) to synchronize many folders between multiple devies - one of which is my Nvidia Shield Tablet which runs Lollipop 5.1.1. When first moving to 5.1.1 a few months ago, I rooted it and added a 64gb SD card. I then edited "/etc/permissions/platform.xml" to add the  "WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" string therefore providing all apps with full write to the SD card. I installed BTsync, set up my options, and linked 4-5 folders to various folders on the SD card without issue. Besides BTSync, I use FolderMount to create symlinks on my internal SD so that I may store all my large games / apps externally. Today, I renamed a folder on my PC so had to set up the pair again. The Issue When in BTSync in Android, I choose to link the folder, but could only select a folder from the internal SD - not the external one as before! When I go to select the folder, it asks if I want to use on on the Phone Storage or SD Card, but either I pick show the same thing: a screen with "Recent" as the only choice. From that screen, I can hide / unhide the internal SD, but see no reference to the external one. There are no errors, I just can't see / browse to it! I am sure this is due to a BTSync update from the past few months as I haven't changed the OS or anything else. All other applications still have full access to the external SD, too. How may I get the external SD to show as an option in this newest version of BTSync? If it makes a difference, I still have the default folder path in Advanced Options set to "/storage/sdcard1" (which I believe is the external one and sdcard0 is internal) and Simple Mode disabled yet when I try to even create a new folder from the app; I can't browse to the external SD card either. Please help - Thanks!
  6. Hello all, I can't find any option to select the SD card as the source for the camera backup, is it possible at all? It works perfectly with the internal memory of the phone, but I save the photos on the SD card, and these photos are not being backed up. Any idea? Thank you a lot!
  7. I have just upgraded to Sync 2.0 on my Android phone (version 5.0.1) and wanted to sync my data with my new removable SD card, but it seems that the application does not create the folder /Android/data/com.bittorrent.sync automatically on the latter. As a result I can't synchronize data on my SD card which quite annoying. Anyway to create that folder manually ? Any workaround I could use ? Thank you. Best regards,
