  1. On two computers (new devices, only Windows 10 Pro, Thunderbird, LibreOffice and Sync installed), I unstalled Sync. The uninstall process does delete all (!) of my Documents, Downloads, all personal data, even from other accounts. Furthermore, the windows computer cannot be startet again, I always get a BSOD loop. Maybe it has to do with the current update from Microsoft (Meltdown, Spectre)? The windows update was installed automatically before I uninstalled Sync.

Here is what I did: 1) I uninstalled Resilio Sync (2.5.2) using Control Panel (I'm on Windows 10 x64) via admin account. 2) I tried to install fresh from user account I use daily, but the setup gave me "...2.5.2 detected, will shutdown to continue...".   3. Good morning It's about 10 days that i have syncing problems between my devices like in photo ! I need a tutorial for totally uninstall, clean ALL ResilioSync system folders / traces ( like, for example in Windows 7, also the C:\Users\+++\AppData\Roaming\Resilio Sync folder) and redo a fresh ResilioSync installation into my Mac, my 2 Synology Nas and a Windows 7 pc. After that it is better to start with a full folder only into one device or i can keep full folder into every devices (and Resylio compare them) ? May you help me please ? Thx in advantage Alfy
  4. I am trying to uninstall BitTorrent Sync. When I drag the BitTorrent file to the trash I get the following error: I have of course clicked Quit on BitTorrent Sync and it closed the app properly. This is a bit of a problem obviously and to be honest I have never had that problem with any other OS X app. I am also of the opinion that any software that writes folders somewhere else should have a proper uninstaller.   5. I had an old version (1.4) installation running in my ubuntu 14.04 installation. After I got a notification in the web-frontend to upgrade, I downloaded the new 2.0 version of Bittorrent Sync and tried to install it. As the old version was still installed I initially failed to do so. So I removed the Binaries (=the file I installed wtih 1.4), removed the btsync packages I found in the software manager and several hidden folders connected to Bittorrent sync (hope I got all).   6. I've used Sync 1.x successfully for a simple sync task. Following the 2.0 upgrade I'm unable to perform the same task. The simple task is to sync the public pictures and documents folders on two Windows 8 laptops used interchangeably by my wife and I. We travel independently a lot. We appreciate having the latest versions of shared pictures/docs available locally on whichever laptop we're using.   7. I'm on OS X Mavericks and used RoyW's guide to install BitTorrent Sync on my WD My Cloud: It's just been giving me headaches and not really doing what I need it to do. I stopped having the ability to add new folders or monitor my folders in the web UI. I found a different solution, so I'm going with that and ditching BitTorrent Sync (sorry!).   9. I wish to uninstall BitTorrent Sync. The program is "hung up" and I can find no place and no option on my computer to close the BTSync window, shut it down and uninstall it. I'm operating on a MacBook Air. I am not a computer expert so any directions in this regard need to be expressed in very simple and easy to follow terms. One more thing -- I "ejected" the BTSync disk in Finder, even though there never was, technically, a disk. This made no difference. Please help -- I just want this program off my computer!!!
