What if there were a browser plugin that took some of the Project Maelstrom tech that was for uploading and downloading via BT Sync for computer neophyte user? I had drafted a longer post but my session timed out and I lost the information... Three basic functions of the extension: View BT Sync placeholders Download individual files to Downloads Folder Upload individual files to BT Sync Folder I have found that the effort for computer illiterate people, like some of my clients, to understand BT Sync, download, install, and use is too many steps. Also, some

Hi boys and girls, I bet this question must have been asked a gazillion times, but still i can't find a clear answer: Client (A ) runs sync with a readonly key and completely syncs with Read/Write client (B ), comes along R/W client (C ) when client (B ) is offline. Will client (A ) upload this new data to client (C ) although he's supposed to only have a read-key? Thank you!!! Max - Happy syncer

Hi, i managed to install sync on the western digital my cloud ex 2 with ssh. Here you can find the procedure: http://community.wd.com/t5/WD-My-Cloud-EX2/BitTorrent-Sync-on-ex2/td-p/822381 Now i'm making some try and i'm stuck in a strange behavious: if i create a sync from the nas to a pc it goes great. if i create a sync from the pc to the nas (which is the main reason i made this) it told me: "Not enough free space on the drive" can you tell me why?

Hi, I just noticed my upload speed to be very slow so I did a couple of bandwidth tests. On the unit the files currently are I get around 50 mbit upload speed and on the unit currently syncing (in another location) I get around 50 mbit download speed when testing. However I am currently syncing around 100KB/s, it goes up and down a bit between 100 and 400 KB/s but mostly at the lower end. By the looks of it I have a direct connection since there are no indications of a relay server being used. I don't have any limits configured and I am using UPnP. Would it be better for speed using a set l

Hi there, Love the theory of this program, but having significant issues in performance. I have it set up where a few remote computers send files to a central computer with this program. Works good, but kills the internet in the process. The central computer would only be downloading at a reasonable rate (so no limited required). When in the process of even a single file, the ping rate to the internet jumps from 45-50ms to between 500-600ms. when doing speed tests during the transfer, the speed is crippled. Download rate drops 80% (even though the file download is only sucking 40kbs due to
