  1. How does the sync work over non-WiFi (3g,4g etc...) How does my phone discover changes on my PC without any central server? Is there an URL with my device key? How does this work?
  2. OK, so I have a problem with BT Sync 2.0.127 (35) just killing my wifi in my house. I have an Android phone that pulls files in 24/7 from the internet. When those files are finished downloading, they move to a shared BT Sync folder that should then sync to my laptop (OS X 10.9.5). The problem is that as soon as BT Sync starts moving files across the wifi, every device on wifi (iPhones, Mac) experience super intermittent internet. Webpages slow to a crawl, Netflix is not an option, everything is down. Pause the sync, and everything comes back up immediately. At first, I thought this was an issue with bandwidth across the wifi, so I limited the bandwidth available. I started at 500kb/s, and now I'm down to 50kb/s. The option rate_limit_local_peers is set to true. A note about my setup- we currently share internet access with the neighbors. I have a DD-WRT router acting as a wireless bridge. This problem happens regardless if the laptop is connected to the DD-WRT router in our apartment or directly to the neighbors' wifi. Any ideas?
  3. Don't have many details yet besides noticing that when returning to Bittorrent Sync on my iMac after sleeping or hibernation, my Airport Extreme wireless networks seem to lose connection to the internet until I close BTsync and reboot my iMac.
  4. On mobile version of BTSync you could activate or deactivate sync on a 3g wifi network but this could be set only for general settings. Should be nice to let set 3g\wifi sync folder by folder ;-)
  5. It would be great if Btsync Android App would support a Sync Blacklist or Whitelist to choose when files should be synced, or not. In my case, i use this app on my tablet which is mounted in a car and connected to a MiFi Router, also mounted in my car. But btsync should only stard syncing when it is connected to my Home WiFi in front of my Appartement. Thanks in advance!
  6. Some of the files I'm planning to sync from my MacBook Pro to my Windows Home Server are very large (virtual machines) and as such I'd like to enable syncing only when I've connected to my local network using Ethernet (rather than using the WiFi). This is because a sync over anything other than a local ethernet connection will take forever, massacre my WiFi and max out my broadband monthly data cap in no time. Request: For each sync folder, allow the user to specify which network interfaces may be used for syncing (default = All), so as I can de-select WiFi for these folders. For each sync folder, allow the user to specify if it should sync over LAN only (default = False) so as I can prevent these folders from syncing over the internet (when I'm in the office, for example)Cheers, Pete EDIT: Apologies - posted to wrong forum. Mods, can you please move to BitTorrent Sync \ General Discussion
  7. Simple report. I have a router with a/b/g/gw, an Android client and a PC. When my PC is on channel GW and the Android client is on the same as well, the sync speed goes to about 1kb/s. However, if I change my Android to G, the speed goes to about 3MB/s. Side note, when PC(GW) and Android(G), the GUI icon is a cloud and not arrows.
