Hello, everybody! I continue to test this amazing service and found such issue. How I understand this xattr attributes are syncing by default: • com.apple.FinderInfo • com.apple.metadata:_kMDItemUserTags • com.apple.ResourceFork • com.apple.metadata:kMDItemFinderComment So I’ve tried to sync a tagged file and everything went well. But when I’ve added a comment — nothing happened. All my settings are set by default. I didn’t edit any service file within folders. What I do wrong?
Are extended attributes handled, and if so, to what extent? For example, are resource forks synced between HFS+ file systems? Things could get tricky editing files across platforms. If this isn't supported yet, I would like to add it to the wishlist, as a must have before use.
In general I love BTS. It's served me well for more than a year. First issue... version 1.3.109 was the latest version to support windows xp, since higher version require IE 9...which cannot be installed on win XP. I still have xp machines... likely will for many more months, possibly years. I'm sure I'm not alone in that. Regardless, my issue is that xattrs have, in the last 6 months or so, killed my sync jobs.
