Tsu
As the title says, I installed SyncApp 1.0.92 and it's not updating when I add new files. The old version used to be instantly and now it's been a few minutes and it's still not recognizing new files placed in that folder. Is this a known issue? Anyone else facing it? GreatMarko
Is SyncApp doing anything else at the time? i.e. if it's currently indexing a very large folder, I've found that this can sometime delay the syncing of other folders. Also, with build 1.0.92, SyncApp now has the ability to "ignore" certain files (by default ".DS_Store", "desktop.ini" and "Thumbs.db") - if you add any of these to your folder (or any other files you've chosen to exclude from the sync), they won't be indexed/syncedI did occasionally with the previous build (1.0.75) find there were times when folder changes were not detected straight away, and I ended up restarting SyncApp, which then detected the changes straight away - this was very intermittent for me with 1.0.75, but it maybe that that issue is still present in 1.0.92?As I say, check to see if SyncApp is currently indexing other folders and potentially therefore delaying other folder's sync, and make sure the files your adding to the folder in question don't match the list of ignored files (see the contents of the folder's hidden ".SyncIgnore" file)
kos13
On Mac/Windows we introduced new button - report the issue. It is placed in tray icon. In this case we will get log files, so could give you more detailed answer to your issue.
Tsu
Done, issue has been reported. I find the description to be a bit vague about what information is collected from my machine and what data may be send.SyncApp is not doing anything else at the time, is not updating/scanning/indexing and multiple restarts have not helped. kos13
The issue was that two computers were linked using read only secret. So changes on second computer were not propagated to master.
