How to install in NAS

Recommended Posts

Hi

I would like to know how to install BT Sync into my Arm based NAS. I copied the unzipped arm based version of BT Sync into a folder in the NAS and then click on it. It gave me this message in the terminal.

Last login: Wed Apr 24 11:26:06 on ttys000

/Volumes/Qweb/btsync ; exit;

Antons-MacBook-Pro-2:~ Anton$ /Volumes/Qweb/btsync ; exit;

-bash: /Volumes/Qweb/btsync: cannot execute binary file

logout

[Process completed]

I know that telnet/SSH is opened so that should be no problem.

Help.

Antonio

chmod +x ./btsync

Sorry to be such a noob, but what should I do with this? What program do I need to open to type it in?

You need to open a SSH or telnet connection to your NAS to do this Linux command.

Be very careful if you don't know what you're doing.
