hughjanus
So I have a .metadata directory that is automatically created by some software I use. I don't want this to be synced, so I added .metadata to the .SyncIgnore file. This causes some weird behavior - sometimes it has no effect, sometimes it removes the .metadata folder from all other clients (as it should) only to readd it 1 minute later, and sometimes it stays ignored until the software is restarted and some of the files are updated. This is all while restarting btsync between updating .SyncIgnore, and removing the folder manually from all clients.I wonder if this is a windows specific issue, as .Trashes and other . directories are ignored fine on OSX/Linux. GreatMarko
Have you ensured that your .SyncIgnore files are identical on each device you're syncing between, as if not, this can cause the behavior your describe?
