Proper Function Question please

Excuse me please.

Just to understand the proper function of this software:

I am using the RO functionality; backing up a PC's file(s) to a remote PC(s).

Origin client with files x, y, z; contained in a folder designated as RO with a RO Secret.

Remote client running with the RO Secret, destination folder structure identical to Origin client.

Noting file updated on Origin client @ 21:40, yet the identical file on Remote client still has not reflected the updated file hours later.

To force the backup, I deleted the Remote client's file, and hours later, the Origin file still has not shown up.

Am I expecting too much? Is my understanding of the functionality of this software sckewed?

I do realize this is still in "alpha" but is not the basic functionality one of file copy origin to destination(s)?

Have I detailed the problem adequately? if not, please ask of me additional questions that I may clarify.

Thank you for your time in responding.

Thank you kindly for the confirmation.

Additionally, I am noting that in observing the History tab, that on the Origin PC, BTS does indicate "x" file is updated (.pst in this case), "y" file is added, then removed (.tmp), and "z" file is added (newly created .htm, and newly downloaded .mp3 podcast)

Now on the Remote PC{a} and {b}, the History tab does seem to suggest it is aware of these same changes, stating "Origin PC added, removed x, y, z"

yet, not all files are showing up in the duplicated directory structure on the Remote PC(s).

the .htm files is stated as being added, yet does not show up, the .mp3 does show up.

and still waiting on the .pst either as a whole on PC{a} or the updated file on PC{b}

~as an aside, I have the understanding that BTS is technically like a network-based Robocopy, and using the RO Secret assures the Origin PC does not get over-written by Remote PC(s).

Since BTS seems to work in some cases, I am sure it is not a Services related issue.

I also made it a point to use the following command [attrib -a -h -r *.* /S /D] then followed with [attrib +a *.* /S /D] to refresh (per se) all the attributes of all the files/dir, and nothing changed.

(was kinda expecting setting/resetting the Archive bit might have a relation to oddities)

Based upon the oddities presented, is this something that suggests that Debug Logging would be beneficial?
