Houge Langley
I using btsync in my openSUSE Linux destop system, if I using root permission to launch btsync, the syncing will be success, but not, only folder could be syncing in my Windows 8. I have no idea whether a certain need root privileges to use this software in my Linux Desktop?
Disappointed Cat
Make sure that the .SyncID files are owned by the user running btsync.Same thing happend here when I tried to continue syncing a directory that was synced as root first. sergey@bt
BTSync itself does not require root privileges. Make sure all files in shared folder and in .sync folder are writable for your system account.
