ouija
Hello,Managed to get BitTorrent Sync working on my D-Link DNS 343 recently, however the app just doesn't seem to actually be transferring any files, even though it detects the changes, states that it has XX MB to upload but the kB/s up and kB/s down are always at 0 kB/s, and the log file doesn't really indicate what is occurring in terms of the transfers not happening, but that it is always "Merge: will request files for" or "Merge: processing nodes message for" with the remote machine. I have BTSync configured to a port which is open in my firewall, and I know the remote machine can see my NAS without issue and it is not using a relay server, so I cannot for the life of me figure out why the transfers are not happening.Maybe this NAS is just too old of a POS to handle it... grrrr... Innus
I'm having the same problems you describe. The logs on the server and client indicate that they see each other, but nothing happens in the UI to suggest a transfer needs to happen. And thus it doesn't sync. Innus
Just to follow up: the problem for me turned out to be my VPS host - they were blocking outgoing UDP traffic on their router and it was completely destroying btsync. I'm on their whitelist now and its working great. Hopefully this helps someone else - check with your host just in case they're doing the same to you!
