TheDON3k
This is a simple question - Can there be added, or is there a switch, to allow quite no-prompt update of the client?Basically I'm using BTSync on several family member's PCs in order to push photos and other items to their machines. But I get calls from them, or realize that some aren't getting the files as they're afraid to click things when something pops up they don't recognize, or they're just clicking the X to close the window, etc.A quite option would be great. GreatMarko
I agree - automatic, and completely unattended updates would be great - especially for those running Sync on headless servers!I did suggest this exact thing way back in I think March/April time, so the devs are certainly aware of it... but hopefully this thread will help highlight the idea again! TheDON3k
Any of the devs or mods have a comment on this request?
Disappointed Cat
Just remember if it's not signed and verified properly this could make MITM attacks way too easy.
mbob
Simply update it via BitTorrent Sync ... just put a R/O key into the application ))Just remember if it's not signed and verified properly this could make MITM attacks way too easy.
