patoka
Sync says I have 3 files in 15 Mb in my mdbdta folder, but it has about 9 gigs in 8 files. I deleted the sync and recreated but still get the same result.Anyone else seen this?
ChrisH
Are you trying to sync an Exchange Mailbox database? That won't work as long as Exchange is running and has locked the files.
goli
Hey there. To ChrisH:I was just about to answer the exact same thing. But I would expect btsync to show all 8 files and have the open ones just neer be finished. So this might be a different problem. To the problem:Maybe permissions? I really don't know which permission an exchange instance sets on its files, but I hope it completely refuses read access from everybody that isn't an "Administrator" role.Btsync has this debugging feature. It's something like "FFFF" in an "debug.txt" file inside of the .Sync folder, I think.See this sticky thread:Regards,Stephan.
patoka
Yes, the Exchange files on the server. Bitsync does copy other db files which normally are locked by the db so I thought it could copy locked files, must be a different level of rights.
