Decipher
Firstly, yay for the API, I've been hanging out for it as I've had an idea in mind for a while. In general, in happy with what I see, but I do already have a request for an additional method.Basically I'd like to be able to register a URL for btsync to ping on specific events, primarily when a fold has finished syncing. This will allow my integration to be notified of the changed files and react accordingly.Otherwise, my web so will have to continuously poll the directories, which doesn't seem very efficient. capi
+1, that would be a huge improvement. Either add the possibility to have scripts/programs executed on certain events, or request an HTTP(S) URL, that would be very nice.
voz
+1, a really needed feature in my application
jgustafson
+1 - This would be especially nice on mobile devices, where the alternative (polling) can quickly drain the battery.
voz
In general it would be great to have a 'webhooks' api for a set of btsync events, with ability to add, modify, remove webhooks. For instance, I would like btsync to post to my web-app a json with information about newly synced file.
