metagog
Suggest using lstat() in linux puhleeeeeeeeeeez. I notice this where a directory contained large number of symlinks to remote nfs mounts... :-) stating each file took many seconds... sergey@bt
Actually Sync already uses lstat() and symlinks should be synced as links (not as files). Do you see any different behavior?
Disappointed Cat
Symlinks should be propagated from Linux to Windows and vice versa?Neither Win nor *nix symlinks are synced, but Win junction points are which is good.
sergey@bt
Symlinks should be synced as links between POSIX systems. On Windows, Sync does not currently recognize any special files (everything treated as generic file).
