Ephemeral
I'm noticing that on using dpkg-reconfigure on Ubuntu to reconfigure my btsync files that it actually generates broken JSON so that the sync service won't start properly (In that, it puts 0's at the beginning of the numeric values for up/down limits and such.) RomanZ
Hi Ephemeral, We do not have official package in package repositories. I would advise to take a tarball of btsync from official site. UPD.In such cases I would advise to post your questions in Debian and Ubuntu package topic, so package owners can assist you. tuxpoldo
I'm noticing that on using dpkg-reconfigure on Ubuntu to reconfigure my btsync files that it actually generates broken JSON so that the sync service won't start properly (In that, it puts 0's at the beginning of the numeric values for up/down limits and such.) Thank you for the report. I was able to reproduce the problem by entering numbers with a leading 0 in the dialog boxes (I think you have done so). It will be fixed in the next release. In the meantime, invoke dpkg-reconfigure again and make sure you enter your values without leading zeroes. See Issue #56 on Github. If you like to discuss with other users using this package, you may refer to the Debian And Ubuntu Server Packages For Bittorrent Sync Thread in this forum.
