Dannyman
I have a desktop PC with nearly 300GB of music on it and an elaborate tagging system. I just got a MacBook Pro that I want to transfer my music to. I'd like to be able to edit music files on the MacBook and have them sync with the desktop PC as well. I set up a 2-way sync. About 80GB into the process, I open up iTunes on my desktop PC and my iTunes library seems to have disappeared. All that shows up are songs I purchased via the iTunes store. Should I stop the sync process? Any idea how to get my iTunes library back? I've put an unbelievable amount of time and effort into tagging all that music, making smart playlists, etc. Any idea how to prevent this in the future? I DJ weddings in the summer and this cannot happen during the season. A further question: once the libraries are synched, is it possible to change to a one-way sync without having to re-transfer all 300 GB? Firon
Have you checked the folder directly to see if the data is there? Not just looking at iTunes.
