Rizwan
I have tested BTsync in between linux machine and windows machine to backup my windows machine folder to my linux server. I try to find incremental sync (change in windows should change in Linux, delete in windows should not delete in linux) following are the results of my tests. PC Full key - paisted to Linux fulladded file in pc, added in linuxadded file in linux, added in PCremove file from pc (own/created in PC REMOVED form LINUX) (own/created in LINUX redownload to PC)remove file from linux (own/created in PC REMOVED form LINUX) (own by LINUX remove from PC) Linux full key - paisted in PC Fulladd file in PC, file added in linuxadd file in Linux, file added in PC remove file from pc (own/created in PC REMOVED form LINUX) (own/ created in LINUX redownload to PC)remove file from linux (own/created in PC REMOVED form LINUX) (own/ created in LINUX removed from PC) PC read key - paisted in Linux fulladd file in PC, file added in linuxadd file in Linux, not added in PCremove file from pc, removed from Linux (transfered in linux folder Recyclbin)remove file from linux, not removed from PC Linux read key- paisted to PC fulladd file in PC, not added in linuxadd file in Linux, added in pcremove file from pc, not removed from linuxremove file from linux, removed from pc (transfered pc folder Recyclbin)
RomanZ
@Rizwan, It looks like all the scenarios you describe are okay and Sync is acting as designed. Could you please elaborate which behavior do you expect to see in which scenario? Read-only key allows to add new files to RO folder (they won't be transferred to RW peer), file removal (they won't be removed from RW peer) and file modifications (again, won't be moved to RW peer). All the changes on RW peer will be synced to RO peer, except if file was modified / deleted - in this case it stops being synced from RW peer.
