wussery
I have installed BT Sync and have a 2TB WD Cloud NAS device connected to my router with a static IP address. I have added a folder on my Desktop Computer called Videos and want to sync this folder to my NAS device in a folder called VideoSync. When I go to create this new folder in BT Sync after entering the Folder Secret, I get an error message from BT Sync. "Selected Folder is already added to BitTorrent Sync" Why does BT Sync treat the NAS folder which has a different IP address as a folder that has already been created? trevellyan
If I understand your question correctly, you're trying to sync two folders from one device. BTSync is designed to sync folders between devices. To achieve what you want, you would need to install BTSync on your NAS.
wussery
Thanks. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that as It will void my warranty if I add any system files to the My Cloud device.
