wussery
Can someone tell my how to fix this problem. I have a user called mix that is currently in my sudoers file added via visudo. The file in question has these access rights: -rwxrwxr-x 1 501 502 4168108 Apr 21 04:46 btsync How do I fix this so I can run btsync without btsync being a super user? If I remove mix from sudoers and run: sudo ./btsync the file will not run. I get several error messages about not having the necessary rights. When I add mix to sudoers and run ./btsync the file runs without any issues.
Firon
Don't use sudo to run it. you'll also need to chown btsync's files to be owned by the user you're trying to run it as.
