acDCuk
Currently, BT Sync for Windows can create a QR code to share the folder secret with a mobile device, but it is not possible for it to read one. I would like to request that the desktop (windows at least) app includes an option to scan a QR code from the users webcam in the add folder dialog. ---Windows 8.1 Core Edition 64 bitBT Sync 1.3.
graphicsmagick
I think this will be super useful! Imagine you're setting up a new computer downstairs. With this features I can print out the QR codes (or display the QR codes on a phone) and have the new computer scanning the codes! Much more convenient than typing, and more secure than emailing the secrets to myself.

colin vh
I think this feature is a fantastic idea. Put them on a USB stick?Cross-PC cut&paste?Temporarily share a folder from the upstairs PC to the downstairs PC? It's a feature suggestion forum, not a workaround suggestion forum.
