sgcsgcsgcsgc Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 Is it possible to search for filenames on IOS in Bittorrent Sync, as per Dropbox app? Quote
jvandenbroek Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 +1Also for Android devices as well. Quote
alin Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 +1 I would really love to have this feature. i wonder if anything like this is on the feature list to be implemented Quote
Helen Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 it is already implemented, on iOS. pull down the files' list and you'll get the search field, but it searches in current directory only. But not on Androids. Quote
alin Posted November 30, 2015 Report Posted November 30, 2015 correct, on iOS you can search in the current folder. what i would love to have is for search to also drill into the subfolders, that would be quite amazing. is there anything like this planned for the future? Quote
Helen Posted December 1, 2015 Report Posted December 1, 2015 alin, This is considered for implementation, but we cannot promise any exact date or release. Hope for your patience and understanding. Stay tuned. Quote
ivarson Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 I'm bumping this one, I just can't keep scrolling through hundreds of folders on Android where foldernames are also truncated by the app. To top it, when stepping back from a subfolder you end up at the top of the list again. Quote
Helen Posted February 29, 2016 Report Posted February 29, 2016 ivarson, filename truncation will be addressed. As for stepping back, please use phone's soft button, rather that UI's back arrow, which indeed takes to main screen. Quote
ivarson Posted February 29, 2016 Report Posted February 29, 2016 You misunderstood. You're correct in that there's different behavior between device-button and app-button, but it's the device's back button I'm talking about. It steps one folder up but it jumps back to the top. Not an issue alone but when you have to scroll for 20 seconds and guess a folders name because of truncation, it's time consuming to have to scroll once again. But great to hear truncation will be fixed, then the scenario I'm talking about won't be an issue for me anyway. Looking forward to it. Quote
