mikedr
I'm using BT sync to sync over the Internet with a colleague. At times, either or both of us may not be connected to the Internet, or the computer may be off. How does BT Sync handle this?E.g., computer 1 off; computer 2 changes a file; computer 1 turns back on and connects to Internet. Will it get the changed file from computer 2? GreatMarko
E.g., computer 1 off; computer 2 changes a file; computer 1 turns back on and connects to Internet. Will it get the changed file from computer 2? Yes - provided that computer 2 is also online! If not - computer 1 won't receive the updated file until the next time computer 2 is also online at the same time.

nellie4568
You can always install btsync on a raspberry pi or grab a cheap vps (like backupsy) to act as an intermediary and sync changes when only one computer is online. Sort of like creating your own cloud storage.
