sirpreis
Hi, I have just configured my Android smartphone to sync its camera folder with a folder on my PC. I want the photos to get deleted on the Android device once they are deleted/moved from the folder on the PC (I'm using Lightroom to import that directory to my Lightroom library; that process moves the files). It works almost, the only problem is that after deleting files on the PC and then syncing, the files or rather the file information are still visible on the Android device. It seems that the files are somehow altered, as when I try to open the files from the camera folder on my PC (when the device is connected via USB), the Windows Photo software says the file is broken. There is also no thumbnail for the photo. Once I reboot the phone, all the files are properly gone. Of course I don't want to have to reboot my device for the sync process to complete. Is there something I need to configure for the files to be gone automatically and instantly? Thanks!
Helen
sirpreis, it may take some time for Sync to show all the file being deleted if you have a lot of files in the folder. Try restarting Sync and the File Manager on the phone and see if they get the deletion information refreshed.
Alcolo Alcolo
I think that some Android picture browser (gallery) save some information somewhere else. I'm using quickpic and I don't have any problems
