[Solved] Delete Old Peers

Recommended Posts

It seems that I screwed up and didn't disconnect a peer before uninstalling the Bittorrent Sync client on the machine, as such it stills show up in the list of peers for a shared folder. How can I remove this old peer from the shared folder?

If you're referring to Sync 1.4, Peers will continue to be listed in the UI for 7 days since they were last seen/online, after which they will then disappear from the UI.

This setting may be changed via the new advanced "peer_expiration_days" setting.

That's exactly what I was asking, thanks for clarifying. I'll just wait the 7 days...

Is this all still supposed to be true? I'm using 1.4.106 Beta on Linux. In my Options > Preferences > Advanced, I have no link, checkbox, or field for "peer_expirations_days" or "More options" or anything of the like.

@funkify

There is no advanced preferences in WebUI version (and it is the only available for Linux). For Linux you'll have to make a config file and set the peer_expiration_days there. For more info on config file just run ./btsync --dump-sample-file.
