mhixson
Was trying to add a new folder today and the popup stating a new version was available came up. Trying to let it download the update resulted in it crashing before the download completed. I deleted the app from my machine and then just went to the website to download 1.4. Now it opens briefly, but within a couple seconds of the window appearing it crashes. Since I'm not able to get into the app to turn on debug logging I don't have a log to share. Just wanted to report the problem.

phi
I'm having the same issue too. Not sure why this version is so unstable.
Devonavar
Same issue, BTsync v. 2.0.93, OS X v10.7.5See also this thread, marked solved by mod, but not actually solved.Reverting to 1.3.109 again. http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/32178-solved-bt-sync-crashes-immediately-on-upgrade-to-1493/
Devonavar
Word from BTSync support is that v1.4+ requires OS X 10.8 & above. However, I've had luck minimizing random crashes by freeing up hard drive space, eliminating shares that are also shared via SMB / CIFS, and not overloading the GUI with requests. It seems mostly stable unless I do something that is likely to stress the memory system.
