Hi people. After recent btsync update i encountered a problem: btsync-gui crashes when opened.

I have some sync folders named using not latin characters, on my native language. Locale is ru_RU.UTF8

Crash message: "btsync-gui crashed with UnicodeEncodeError in init_folders_values(): 'latin-1' codec can't encode characters in position 18-26: ordinal not in range(256)".

btsync-gui remains active, but not showing non latin folders.

Ubuntu 12.04 amd64

Hi progmachine,

this bug is now tracked as Issue #161 - The biggest problem is due to the BitTorrent Sync API: the folder names are returned in a broken way and an ugly workaround is needed. Unfortunately this was not tested with all languages it it does not work always. I hope that I will find a way to fix it..
