Scott1x
I am running Windows 7. I have cable internet service which is hooked to my Netgear 300 router. 1.4.91 is my Sync version. When all of the computers are on the home local area network all sync as they should. My daughter has taken her laptop to school, where she has a wireless internet service. Displaying the home peer list, the laptop is showing as offline. She sees the home peers as off line. I have tried changing the listening port, hoping the school had blocked those ports, but I cannot get it to persist. Any suggestions??? Scott1x
Will do. I'll also enable the VPN and check it's port settings. Where there's a will....
Scott1x
When my daughter came home, we hooked het laptop to the internet through her cell phone. Contact was made with her desktop almost instantly. The problem is clearly the school network. If she finds the time, we'll try getting through the school network using a VPN.
