Getting All Information From A Folder (Files, Sizes, Etc) Without Downloading

Hey all,

 

I'm wondering if it's possible to get all meta data about a folder (well actually a key I guess), without downloading them to the local machine? The API only works on actual folders on a machine, I want to be able to get info from a key without getting all the files.

 

Reason I'm asking is that I'm looking into possibilities of creating a web interface where you can share keys with your friends, if I don't have to download the actual files but will be able to show information about the keys that would be awesome!
