Question - Recheck

Hey all,

Just joined the community, I used another backup-system, and want to switch to Bitsync, its far easier to use. However, if I would like to use my old drives, should I run the sync into an empty folder, or does the program find the existing backuped files and will do a "recheck" like in normal torrents? That way I would be synced way faster.

Thx

If you change a synced file on a RO node, it will break the sync for that specific file and subsequent changes from the RW side won't sync over (unless you have the overwrite changes option checked for that folder, in which case it will undo the changes as soon as sync notices).

If you add a file on the RO node, it's totally ignored by sync.
