j1miroquai
Hi I sync across my raspberry pi and my MacbookEverything syncs fine except a single folder wich seems it downloads forever! On the peer status it has 359 files that are all like this one com.apple.ResourceFork. I have put it in the SyncIgnore list but the problem remains. My SyncIgnore list is like this : # .SyncIgnore is a UTF-8 encoded .txt file that helps you specify single files, paths and rules# for ignoring during the synchronization job. It supports "?" and "*" wildcard symbols.### OS generated files #.DS_Store.DS_Store?._*.Spotlight-V100.Trashesehthumbs.dbdesktop.iniThumbs.dbnode_modulescom.apple.FinderInfocom.apple.metadata:_kMDItemUserTagscom.apple.ResourceForkcom.apple.metadata:kMDItemFinderCommentcom.apple.metadata:kMDItemStarRatingcom.apple.metadata:kMDItemOMUserTagTimecom.apple.metadata:kMDItemOMUserTagscom.apple.metadata:kMDItemOMUserTagTime can anyone help? j1miroquai
Well I kind of figured it out my self and solved it. It seems that the StreamList file had also com.apple.ResourceFork I just removed it for the list and everything synced perfect. Still don't really know what StreamList file is for though! ZappoB
I have the same problem and it seems not to be solved, because it's quite unclear, for what the com.apple.ResourceFork is needed in the StreamList file and if it's save to delete it, because it seems to be neccessary for the xattrs. It may be a workaround for now, but it would be helpful if someone could state, if and for what this entry is needed.
ZappoB
Hello? Can anyone say something about the need of the com.apple.ResourceFork entry? And why it is causing sync troubles?
