Issues With Camera Backup On Ios

i have enabled camera backup on my iphone. Ive added folder on my mac that is going to be in-sync with the phone.

  1. On initial backup, it works.
  2. When I remove an image from my iphone - this is NOT reflected in my backup
  3. When I delete an image in my backup that is still on the phone - the image is NOT downloaded again. (i do get notification from app about readonly folder)
  4. The backup does not start automatically on iPhone - I have to open Sync app to start the sync.

My major issue here is 2 and 3. I would like that my backup is a real reflection on what i have on the iPhone.

For 4. - this would be nice if it can work automatically.

This has been changed, right? Whenever I delete one of the pictures on my Computer, it is instantly downloaded again from the iPhone.

Problem: I do not want this!

I liked the behaviour that it had before, downloading a picture only once. I want to download the pictures and then process them further (move them to other photo folders, delete them, etc.). In the past it was easy to see which pictures were new and needed to be sorted. Now the folder contains always all pictures that are on the phone, making it a hassle to compare which pictures I still need to sort.

Isn't there an option to switch that behaviour?
