Shlomi
I need to sync the content of a remote server, very large files, at my internet speed and upload speed from the server, it will take days and cost a lot in data usage. Is it possible to receive the content of the server via a hard drive, dowlnload this on my system and only than start to sync? fdbryant3
You would have to connect the hard drive to another computer on the LAN but yes you could do the sync that way. Alternatively you might want to look into a sync tool like SyncToy which can actually sync files across hard drives on the same PC.
wweich
If you share the folder r/w, you can copy the files into the folder previous to adding it to btsync.btsync will scan the folder an see, that the files are already there.
