EmmWeh
Hi, I'm trying to install Sync 2.2.2.112 x64 on a Windows 10 Pro x64 machine, using a normal user account and an admin account. Trying to install Sync, Win asks for admin password. After that, Sync is installed into c:\Users\useraccount\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent Sync\instead ofc:\Program Files\ And it neither appears in Start Menu nor the Desktop (as selected at installation). There's also no way for Autostart without entering admin password. And no way to regularly uninstall and reinstall because there's no entry in the Apps & Features menu. Any suggestion? Thanks! Moe
That Sync installs in %AppData% is normal behavior of Sync.
Helen
EmmWeh, To workaround the issue with standard user account, copy keys from Admins' registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\BitTorrent Sync to user's. and you can then manually add it to autostart (Startup) folder.
