whoozy
Hi everbody.I'm already using BTsync on my Synology DS211j.Now I've ordered the new Router of Synology, which comes with NAS functionality.I was wondering, if BTsync could be installed on it. There is no package (yet) ...It uses a Broadcom BCM58622 dual core 1,0 GHz. RegardsKay
RomanZ
Kay, Even without a package Sync is capable to run on numerous amount of platforms. You'll have to deploy Sync manually there. Also note, that Sync never complains about resources, though if you've got a lots of files (or peers) you can overload your router.

Helen
as Roman mentioned - there is no package for the router, but you can try and launch Sync there manually. If I get it right, it's arm-based? so arm-build Sync has all the chances to work there, but sorry, this device is not explicitly supported and not tested in the lab. kornac
any package Btsync (install manuall)y does not work with rt1900ac
RomanZ
@kornac This is kind of by design. The router has a specific architecture "northstarplus" which is not officially supported. Router's OS won't allow you to install some other's architecture package. Googling around reveals Cortex A9 ARM CPU, which gives a hint that delivering and running armhf build is likely going to do the trick.
