Target Directory For Link

For those who are using BTSync for content delivery it would be very nice to let the owner specify the default target directory that the link content should be synced to.

Well that can be difficult depending on what system you are adding the link to. On OS X it is different than on Windows and also there is Linux and the mobile clients that are sandboxed.

It should be possible for Android to add a feature to allow a shared link to default to a specified directory since I am able to set my default directory to most anywhere on the internal memory using the general settings.

 

It will be very nice to have this feature!

I see what you mean and where you're going with this.

I just can't see it implemented in the forecoming future.

It's seems to be very complex since you just can't a feature for 1 Device and have the rest lack that.

But as always: the developers and the team behind sync is frequenting the forums checking for new things they could implement
