Andy+ Posted January 29, 2016 Report Share Posted January 29, 2016 I use in a Synology DS412+ the newest version of BTsync, 2.3.0 and with this new version I identify a encreasing of the needed recoures and used RAM storage and the machine runs not smoothly because of it. GreatMarko Posted January 29, 2016 Report Share Posted January 29, 2016 So your screenshot indicates that you're syncing around 712GB of data - However, the amount of memory consumed by Sync is actually determined by the total number (rather than the total size) of the files you're syncing. Please bear in mind that Sync requires approx 0.8-1.5Kb of memory per file it's monitoring (the exact amount depends upon the actual length of the filename/path) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
