btsync is stopped after boot on DS213j

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I've got the problem, that sometimes the btsync service is stopped, after i booted or rebooted my synology ds213j.

I'm running btsync 2.3.1 and DSM 5.2-5644 Update 3

Any ideas?

Starting the service manually after boot is no problem.

@gl00mer I wonder if Sync stops or crashes. Could you please check if there are any core dumps in 3 locations:

  1. /usr/local/bittorrentsync/bin/btsync
  2. /usr/local/bittorrentsync/var
  3. /volume1/ (should start with @btsync)

It may happen it is fixed. Unfortunately, due to nature of crashes it is very hard to say if your issues was fixed without having your crash dump. For now we have at least 2 known issues in 2.3.3 which causes crash, they are being fixed now.

Hello,

Sync is crashing in my Syno DS112j, too. Version 2.3.3. I can't get it to run any more. sync.log shows no sign of a gracefull shutdown, I see lots of *.dmp files in /usr/local/bittorrentsync/var, timestamp fits to the time I tried to start it.

If I can help with diagnostic files please let me know.

Regards!
