[Solved] "failed to run the package service" on DSM6 (ds213j) with btsync 2.3.6 // wrong .spk??

Recommended Posts

Today i've updated my DS213j to DSM 6 and updated the btsync Package suitable for the cpu architecture (armada370).

the btsync service doesn't start, an error message appears (see topic).

i hope that the .spk just has the wrong filename..

does anyone has the same problem?

current workaround looks like this: enable the admin user. that's it O.o

after that, starting the btsync package is no problem anymore..

Since early Sync v2. It's coded into start scripts - admin user is required. I'm not sure why it worked, either admin was actually active, or you were not using our package.
