fatso83 Posted May 29, 2016 Report Share Posted May 29, 2016 I am backing up my Windows Phone pictures using Bittorrent Sync, and when it (finally) connects to my Mac it usually works fine. But I can never get the sync to fully finish as BT Sync on my Mac says it is trying to copy "809 files to" my Windows Phone. Which is strange, given that my Mac got a read-only link from the mobile device ... Something seems fishy here :-/ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Remirus Posted May 30, 2016 Report Share Posted May 30, 2016 fatso83, probably some files were modified on the Mac by another application. So Sync tries to upload those files to other peers. But it cannot do that becase have only RO permissions. You can right-click on the folder, choose "Preferences" and activate "Overwrite any changed files" option.
