My findings copied from PM;

  • I've untared file x64 by the way cause I'm running x86_64,
  • copied btsync-binary to /usr/bin/
  • add  "disable_mount_check" : true  to btsync.conf
  • output;
    [raymond@nas ~]$ systemctl --user status btsync
    * btsync.service - Bittorent Sync per-user service
       Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/user/btsync.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)
       Active: active (running) since Wed 2016-08-03 17:16:04 UTC; 8min ago
      Process: 894 ExecStart=/usr/bin/btsync --config %h/.config/btsync/btsync.conf (code=exited, status=0/S
     Main PID: 896 (btsync)
       CGroup: /user.slice/user-1000.slice/user@1000.service/btsync.service
               `-896 /usr/bin/btsync --config /home/raymond/.config/btsync/btsync.conf

    Aug 03 17:16:04 nas systemd[293]: Started Bittorent Sync per-user service.

    It seems like btsync is running but other peers don't see nas And Webserver serves blank page. Also I outcommented the new parameter but no luck. Same status and blank page.

###### EDIT ######

I've done a full system reboot instead of only stopping and starting service. Now it seems okay. Webpage is showing folders, peers see NAS and NAS is quite. Let see how it goes.

I see another problem arising or was also in 2.3.8. Some sync-folders don't see the other peer(s). In Peer List it shows host is offline But some other sync-folder Peer is online. I haven't seen this issue in 2.3.7
