jcastill
Hello, I noticed that when I move files or folders inside the Sync folder, the content of those folders is resynced between all devices. Sometimes I move over 10GB of data folders that result in a lot of wasted data. It would be ideal to implement logic that checks that the files were moved instead of deleted and created and just move the files in the rest of the devices. Saving time, resources and even unnecessary write to the devices. Making the sync way faster. Thanks for considering!
Helen
There is already such a logic - moving is done via Archive to avoid resyncing. So first of all make sure that you have Archive enabled. However, there are some edge cases when a notification about folders created in new place arrives earlier than that of folders deleted from old place. So Sync will follow these notification - first sync a new folder, and then delete the old one.
