Mark One
Hi all, I'm new to Sync. I'm trying to use it to keep a folder up to date on my phone. The master exists on my NSA320 - it's 49Gb, many subfolders, roughly 8000 files. I only want the phone to have read only access. I've added the folder to the NSA320 setup (via browser) and generated a read-only key. I've then imported the key to the phone. The problem is that the Phone never see's the NAS is online. I get 'No Peers'. The Zyxel NAS is running BitTorrent Sync Version 1.2.73. The phone is running the latest from the Android Play Store. If I install the windows app, the phone and windows see each other, no problems there. All these devices are currently on the same LAN. One final (other) question - The phone already has the sync folder (8000 files) which has been manually copied across. Can Sync make use of these files or does it need to start fresh? Helen
@Mark One, But it's almost for sure that v1.2.x won't work with 2.3.x. Can you update your Sync on the NAS? Officially we do not support Zyxel NAS, so you'll need to manually download and install appropriate binary when ssh connected to it. 16 hours ago, Mark One said: The phone already has the sync folder (8000 files) which has been manually copied across. Read-write peers - yes, these files will be rescanned and difference will be re-synced.
Mark One
Hi, thanks for the reply. I managed to update to 1.4.110 and this has solved the problem. I'll see if i can update to 2.3 though! Thanks again
