rimanek
Since upgrading iOS app to 2.3.5 this morning, i have an issue where the folders on the left side don't show at all, ie the app looks like there are no folders connected. Upon closing the app (via slide up in app view), it seems to return on restart and work ok. Anyone else seeing it / knows how to resolve? Helen
Does it happen periodically - i mean folders disappearance. How many folders you have?
Helen
Was able to reproduce, happens when opening Sync from background. Restarting helps. Will fix that. Thank you for your report!!
rimanek
Exactly. It happens when you start the app from background, it is fixed by stopping &restarting, but then it happens again when the app is inactive in the background for some time (i presume after ios stops giving it processor time). Great, many thanks for working on fixing it, right now quite inconvenient to use..
rimanek
Helen, what is the rough ETA for the fixed version of the app?
Helen
Oh, sorry, was going to tell you today, that it's already out. Resilio Sync (2.4.) in on the Appstore. Before update you will want to read this article about migration.
rimanek
Thank you. What if I do NOT have enough free space for a new resync while old one remains? (I have selective sync off for everything). How should I proceed?
Helen
As per article, folders that have Selective Sync OFF will automatically re-download the files. So if you suspect device will run out of free space, just enable Selective Sync on the shares and update. Then you will be able to arrange them without rush. rimanek
Thanks, Helen. Let me phrase differently: can i remove original BTS install right after the "migration" / resyncing starts on Resilio on the device?
Helen
Yes you can, but I'd rather check that all shares/settings are migrated and make sure that there are other peers that iOS can re-download the files from.
