lodani Posted December 8, 2016 Report Share Posted December 8, 2016 I installed Resilio in two computers that are behind firewalls that don't have UPNP and the sincronitzation is working fine. Why should I need to open ports? Are transfers faster this opening them? Just curious since I haven't found this in the docs. thanks! Moe Posted December 11, 2016 Report Share Posted December 11, 2016 If you want to sync to peers outside of your LAN the application, as all other applications using the Internet, rely on certain ports to be accessible through your router or coming into your network from the outside. If your setup is only meant for syncing files inside your LAN you don't need to open any ports on your router for incoming connections to that client you are running Sync on.
