Soren Bonefeld
I have just upgraded from BTSync to Resilio Sync, and now my shared folders are GONE from the Sync window / program. I had two shared folders. One with 100+GB and 10+ computers. I would prefer not to have to sync all that again from scratch. If you have any idea, the please help. Soren. Helen
If settings are not migrated, you can do that manually: Quit Sync, copy everything from C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\BitTorrent Sync to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Resilio Sync, start Sync. I have the same problem. I'm a WD My Cloud EX2 NAS - can you assist? I had the perfect set up! And can't quite remember everything I did to create it
Helen
Same thing - the idea is to manually move the files from old storage to new one. On wd these would be from /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/BitTorrentSync/settings to /mnt/HD/HD_a2/Nas_Prog/ResilioSync/settings/
Hans
I run BTSync on several computers, syncing to and from an Asustor AS-604T NAS. I use the BTSync app (v2.3.7) on that NAS. I don't mind changing to Resilio Sync BUT I need to be certain that automatic conversion from BTSync to Resilio Sync (currently v2.4.4) is also supported on my Asustor NAS (as it is for several other brands). That was NOT the case two weeks ago. QUESTION: When will this automatic conversion for the Asustor NAS be available??
Helen
nope. on NAS automatic migration is possible only on Synology, QNAP and Western Digital.
