pmdevita
I have a MyCloud (not the one with apps, just the regular one) that has Resilio Sync loaded on it. It is syncing a folder that was originally created and synced by a previous install of Resilio. However, it has been indexing for over 7 hours now. Looking at the log, it looks like it is taking about 10 seconds to look at each file in the folder and give some information about it. I'm not sure what is going on here. The log is about 84MB starting from about 16 hours ago, I'm uploading the tail of it. It's with my desktop for most of it but near the end I turned off my desktop to see if it would keep doing the same thing. Anything else I can provide? sync.log
Helen
It's just merging folder tree with peer OATHKEEPER, nothing critical and no errors. But there are quite big lags - slow to read from disk, slow to check database, etc. As if it's swapped. What about RAM on your NAS - is NAS running out of it, did you check? pmdevita
The NAS has 256MB RAM/500MB Swap. Checked right now while it's idling and Resilio is using 23MB of RAM and 259MB of swap. I guess my NAS doesn't have enough RAM to run Resilio at a decent pace. Thanks for help!
Helen
yes, it's definitely RAM. and running in swap - is the cause of slow everything. swap's aways slower.
