harcesz
Hi, there's a small but annoying problem with your repository that blocks our automated installs on Ubuntu 16.04 (LTE); Error:9 http://linux-packages.resilio.com/resilio-sync/deb xenial Release 403 Forbidden [IP: 54.230.230.178 80] Old:10 https://repo.skype.com/deb stable InRelease Reading Package Lists... Done E: The repository 'http://linux-packages.resilio.com/resilio-sync/deb xenial Release' does not have a Release file. N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default. N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details. I have no experience with creating repo's so can't be of much help here, but would be very glad if this was corrected. Also, in you debian/ubuntu install instructions you can replace 'manual' adding of repository with apt-add-repository makes it slightly more user friendly Thanks for your great work! user627
I am also getting errors from http://linux-packages.resilio.com lately. I followed the instructions on https://www.resilio.com/blog/official-linux-packages-for-sync-now-available and it did work until recently, Ubuntu managed to update Resilio to version 2.4.4 (732) at some point. But now resilio-sync_2.4.4-1_amd64.deb is blocking 48 other packages from auto updating including security updates. Get:1 http://linux-packages.resilio.com/resilio-sync/deb resilio-sync/non-free amd64 resilio-sync amd64 2.4.4-1 [9,989 kB] Err:1 http://linux-packages.resilio.com/resilio-sync/deb resilio-sync/non-free amd64 resilio-sync amd64 2.4.4-1 Hash Sum mismatch Fetched 9,988 kB in 0s (61.2 MB/s) E: Failed to fetch http://linux-packages.resilio.com/resilio-sync/deb/pool/non-free/r/resilio-sync/resilio-sync_2.4.4-1_amd64.deb Hash Sum mismatch E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing? user627
I still don't know what the original cause of my error was but my problem seems to be resolved. I forgot about the apt-cache-ng server I use, deleting it's cache of linux-packages.resilio.com allowed resilio-sync_2.4.4-1_*.deb to download and update correctly on all my computers.
