Aspirona Posted April 6, 2017 Report Share Posted April 6, 2017 Does Sync support peers across different timezones? So far it works well with peers locally in our same timezone. However, when we've shared the folder with someone who is in another timezone we get a "Time Difference with 1 Peer" error. I've read some discussions about agents needing to have the same time and timezone, but what about the situation where one or more peers are actually in different timezones? GreatMarko Posted April 7, 2017 Report Share Posted April 7, 2017 The timezone itself is less of an issue - if a device is the correct time within whatever timezone it's set to, you should still be able to sync (as Sync references all times internally back to UTC anyway). A "time difference" error occurs when a peer's clock is wrong within the timezone it's set to.
