DrFranco
I'm sure this is answered somewhere but I've spent an hour without finding a solution. I've downloaded and attempted to install Sync on my Windows 10 machine. The installer appears to do nothing, but as I've seen in other posts, there is a "Resilio Sync" directory installed within the hidden AppData/Roaming directory. In there are a bunch of *.dmp files, and sync and debug text files. However, nothing else appears to be installed. I can't find a Desktop client anywhere. As far as I can tell, the installer was useless. I'm getting none of the standard installer options I've seen listed that I should expect. I've turned off my antivirus software. Wits end here. Any advice appreciated.
Moe
Did you install resilio sync as a windwos service? Try to open your browser and go to https://127.0.0.1:8888
Gane O'dwyer
@DrFranco On what step exactly installation fails? Check %appdata%\ Resilio Sync folder and try to delete everything from there and run the installer again.
DrFranco
Thank you very much. The first install attempt that failed created the appdata directory with the .dmp files. Removing that and trying to install again brought up the full installation menu and everything went well.
